(31.8.2020) Saimme kirjeen Islannista! Edustusjoukkueen valmentaja, divarin apuvalmentaja sekä Piispanlähteen yläkoulun korislinjan aamutreeneistä vastaava Andrew Johnston Jr. siirtyi elokuun aikana saarivaltioon AK Basketball Clubin päävalmentajan tehtäviin.
To the Ura Basketball Club,
As many of you may know, I have accepted a Head Coaching position with Thor, AK Basketball Club in Iceland. I travelled here from Turku just under two weeks ago.
I was not able to see or speak to everyone before I departed, to express my gratitude for the opportunity to coach in the Club. So, I am doing that now, in this short note. I also want to express my appreciation to all the wonderful people I met and became friends with over this past year. Thank you to the Ura Board, fellow coaches and especially the players, from all levels including their parents and families. I also want to thank my Thursday morning crew at the Sports Academy, who made an early morning something I looked forward to.
I will be following and rooting for all of you in the future and wish you all the best of success and happiness on and off the floor.
